Rating It's pretty good quality but after a few days my son's 13 year old friend dunked a ball and hung on the rim (like they saw on the youtube video) and the rubber bushing broke. Not a big deal, but kind of surprised it couldn't hold up to a scrawny teenager.
Mark, per our discussion, the rim is designed much like that of an NBA/NCAA rim in that it will flex 15 degrees upon a certain amount of force. If the rim flexes beyond that point, which occurs from hanging, you can break a spring. Also, NBA/NCAA rims and springs are adjusted and replaced pretty consistently. - Justin(Posted on 4/24/13)

Rating Like a few others I installed this for myself- no children. I'm 50 and enjoy shooting hoops. A 10 foot ceiling in the unfinished basement made for a very cool mini b-ball court. A 7" ball seems like the right size the 5" that came with it seemed too small. Overall I am quite pleased with the quality of the product and ease of installation. Go KU.

Rating The mini pro xtreme is a great quality product. Very strong. Well engineered. Top quality materials. Instructions were simple and all measurements were spot on. My son loves it....plays with it multiple hours a day. Great purchase.

Rating I purchased this for my 14yo son so he could play ball in the garage out of the cold and rain since he loves basketball and loves to be outside. He has a mini goal indoors that he loves to play on so I thought this would be a better match for him and his now 6' stature. He loves the goal. It is very well made and very sturdy once mounted to the stud.

Rating Great hoop for the kids. It is the best small hoop that I could find. We have gone through several others before finding this one. Robustly made for its size. The only drawback is that I don't feel the mounting lag screws are large enough. I have had to retighten them twice since installed just before Christmas. Ordered from this website instead of Amazon, and received it in 2 days.
